Ameren Illinois Announces Additions to Senior Leadership Team

COLLINSVILLE, Ill., (JUNE 26, 2018) – Ameren Illinois today announced three additions to its leadership team.     

Eric Kozak promoted to Vice President of Gas Operations
On June 1, Eric Kozak was promoted to Vice President of Gas Operations.  Kozak is responsible for leading the company's natural gas system modernization program and compliance requirements, overseeing operation of 18,200 miles of natural gas transmission and distribution pipelines and 12 underground natural gas storage fields.  Kozak joined Ameren in 1990 and was formerly Senior Director of Gas Operations.  He will report to Ron Pate, Senior Vice President, Operations and Technical Services.

"Eric's strong leadership skills and diverse background make him well-suited to help grow our natural gas business and build on our strong track record of delivering safe, reliable natural gas service to our customers," said Richard J. Mark, Chairman and President of Ameren Illinois.

Theresa Shaw named Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Financial Services
On July 1, Theresa Shaw will join Ameren Illinois as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Financial Services.  Shaw was formerly Vice President of Internal Audit for Ameren Corporation in St. Louis.  Shaw has been with the company since 2002.  She will report to Craig Nelson, Senior Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Financial Services.

"Theresa's capabilities in auditing, external financial reporting, accounting, and corporate management reporting will be great assets to Ameren Illinois' regulatory and financial services group," Mark said.

Jim Blessing promoted to Assistant Vice President of Regulatory Policy and Rates
On July 1, Jim Blessing will be promoted to Assistant Vice President of Regulatory Policy and Rates.  Blessing joined Ameren in 1994 and was formerly Senior Director, Energy Supply and Corporate Initiatives.  Blessing will report to Shaw.

"Jim has been a key strategist responsible for helping secure the constructive legislative and regulatory framework that is enabling us to modernize our electric and natural gas infrastructure and improve reliability for our customers," Mark said.
