Ameren Missouri has Restored Power to More than 40,000 Customers

Significant progress has been made restoring power to Ameren Missouri customers who were impacted by storms and tornados that passed through the St. Louis area Wednesday evening. Deployed lineman will continue to work through tonight to complete restoration efforts.

Currently, there are approximately 2,200 customers without power as a result of this week’s weather.

All total, the company deployed 1,171 workers, including vegetation management employees and field checkers, to help with the restoration process. Crews from Illinois were also called in to assist with restoration to the hardest hit areas.

Customers without power, or those wanting to report other power-related issues such as low-hanging or downed lines, should call 1.800.552.7583. For your safety, always assume low-hanging or downed lines are energized and contact Ameren Missouri immediately.
