Ameren Missouri Ready to Respond to Winter Storm
Customers Reminded to Practice Safety during Severe Cold

Ameren Missouri has prepared for the winter storm this weekend by staging additional first responders and maintenance crews throughout the region. These crews are ready to assess damage and respond as quickly and safely as possible in case of outages.

“Just as safety is a top priority for our crews, we want our customers to remember to practice safety at all times during this storm as bitterly cold temperatures are expected,” Michael Moehn, senior vice president of Customer Operations for Ameren Missouri, said. “This includes being aware of proper ventilation in homes where lanterns, heaters, generators or fuel-fired cook stoves are in use.”

Customers can report outages by calling 1.800.552.7583 or online at AmerenMissouri.com. Our online outage map is regularly updated.

Anyone who sees a downed power line should always assume it is energized. Please report downed power lines to 1.800.552.7583.

Regional warming centers are also available for anyone who needs to escape the cold. Call 211 for a listing of these centers throughout the state.
