Ameren Missouri Opens its Emergency Operations Center
High Winds are Affecting Service throughout our Service Territory

Ameren Missouri's Emergency Operations Center (EOC) opened at 5 p.m. to manage the company’s response to outages being caused by high winds.

Ameren Missouri held crews in all operating centers to expedite the restoration process. As information became available, employees were deployed to the hardest hit areas.

“Crews will be working into the night to restore power,” said Michael Moehn, senior vice president of Customer Operations at Ameren Missouri. “We are assessing the damage and restoring power as quickly and safely as possible.”

Ameren Missouri reminds customers that safety is the first and foremost concern. The most important safety rule is to stay clear of downed power lines and always call Ameren Missouri at 1.800.552.7583 or 911 if you see downed lines. Assume all downed power lines are energized. Stay inside because you may walk into an energized power line. Stay clear of brush, shrubs and downed trees that may hide downed lines.

If you experience an outage, report it by going to AmerenMissouri.com/Outage or calling 1.800.552.7583.

Outage and preparation information is available at the Ameren Missouri Outage Center at AmerenMissouri.com.
