Ameren Missouri Customers Take More Control of Their Energy Use with New Monthly Energy Statement
New Full-Page Energy Statement Provides Tools and Resources to Save Energy

Ameren Missouri asked customers what types of information they wanted to receive to help them better manage their energy usage. Customers responded, and the company has taken that input to create a new monthly energy statement. Beginning this week, Ameren Missouri residential and small business customers will receive full-page energy statements in place of their traditional postcard bills.

This new statement looks similar to the Personal Energy Report the company sends out each spring. Now, customers won’t have to wait for important information they can use to better manage their utility bills, including: personal usage data laid out in graphs and charts; easy-to-read billing and payment information; and ActOnEnergy® energy efficiency program options and energy-saving tips – all securely delivered in a sealed envelope or by email and text alerts.

“Through conversations with our customers, focus groups, and the positive feedback we receive on the Personal Energy Report, our customers have made it clear they want to partner with us to better manage their energy usage,” says Tara Oglesby, assistant vice president, Ameren Missouri Customer Experience. “We’re excited to be able to provide them the useful information they’re looking for, from the variety of great program options we offer to energy-saving tools to help them better manage their usage, all in one easy-to-read statement.”
