Ameren Illinois Announces Pricing of Senior Secured Notes Offering

ST. LOUIS, Dec. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ameren Illinois Company, a subsidiary of Ameren Corporation (NYSE: AEE), announced today the pricing of a public offering of $250 million aggregate principal amount of its 4.15% senior secured notes due 2046 at 99.001% of their principal amount. The transaction is expected to close on Dec. 14, 2015.

Ameren Illinois intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to repay a portion of its outstanding short-term debt.

BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Goldman, Sachs & Co., Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (USA), Inc., SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Inc. and TD Securities (USA) LLC are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
