Ameren Missouri Adds Jobs to its Jefferson City Contact Center
Ameren Missouri has added 20 jobs to its contact center in Jefferson City, signaling a commitment to customer service operations in mid-Missouri.
"We are committed to supporting our mid-Missouri customers through our expanded contact center in Jefferson City," said Steve Brophy, director of Customer Care at Ameren Missouri. "Providing friendly, accurate and timely service to our customers is something we take very seriously at Ameren Missouri."
Attracting courteous and energetic individuals who know the value of providing top-tier customer service is a priority at Ameren Missouri's contact centers. The downtown Jefferson City location has been providing service since 1991 and, with the addition of 20 jobs, employs a team of 55 customer service professionals who receive over 3,000 customer inquiries each month.
"Our customer advisors play an important role in meeting the needs of our customers," Brophy said. "They handle the variety of inquires that we receive from customers such as questions about their electric and natural gas service, service order requests and program offerings that include budget billing, paperless billing, mobile notifications and energy efficiency. These positions are key as we strive to continuously exceed customer expectations with the level of service that we provide."
