LOUIS, Nov. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ameren Corporation (NYSE: AEE) announced today the pricing of a public offering of $700 million aggregate principal amount of its senior notes, consisting of $350 million aggregate principal amount of 2.700% senior notes due 2020 and $350 million aggregate principal amount of 3.650% senior notes due 2026. The 2020 senior notes and the 2026 senior notes are being offered to the public at 99.977% and 99.911% of their principal amount, respectively. The transaction is expected to close on November 24, 2015.
Ameren intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to repay a portion of its outstanding short-term debt.
