ST. LOUIS (June 14, 2019) – Ameren Missouri’s Power Play Goals for Kids program brought energy to the historic St. Louis Blues 2018-19 season in more ways than one. Fans of the game knew when there was a power play, the home team had an advantage and a local kids’ charity was about to get a $200 donation from Ameren Missouri during the regular season. Today, the company announced it is doubling its regular season donation to support four great children’s charities.
“We congratulate the St. Louis Blues on an incredible season and bringing the top prize home to our city,” said Michael Moehn, chairman and president, Ameren Missouri. “We’ve enjoyed a longstanding partnership supporting our local communities and the team’s success this season helped many children’s charities with expanded programming and outreach needs.”
The four recipient charities for Ameren Missouri’s Power Play Goals for Kids donations include: STL Youth Sports Outreach, the Super Sam Foundation, Project Backpack, and Big Brothers, Big Sisters of East Missouri.
