 
    Aid includes expanded energy bill assistance funds, pause in disconnections, and special payment arrangements for eligible customers
ST. LOUIS (May 27, 2025) – Ameren Missouri announced today a series of updates to customer assistance programs and process changes aimed at assisting those customers impacted by the severe weather that occurred on May 16, 2025.
The updated program and process changes include:
"We recognize the devasting impact the severe weather has had on our community, not only from a disruption of electric service, but from financial and life challenges our customers are facing as they try to recover from this disaster," said Joe Solari, vice president of customer experience at Ameren. "These temporary process changes and expansion of energy assistance are aimed at helping ease some of the burden during this difficult time for our customers in need of support."
Ameren Missouri also announced it is donating $25,000 to Heat Up/Cool Down St. Louis (heatupstlouis.org) to help families impacted by the storms in St. Louis pay their energy bills.
