ST. LOUIS (Sept. 29, 2026) – Ameren Missouri has filed to extend its multiyear energy efficiency and demand response plan under the Missouri Energy Efficiency Investment Act (MEEIA). If approved by the Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC), the extension would continue programs that help residential and business customers identify opportunities to use energy more efficiently and save money.
"Our energy efficiency and demand response programs have helped customers identify opportunities to save energy and money for more than a decade," said Tara Oglesby, vice president of energy solutions and business development for Ameren Missouri. "This proposed extension would help ensure all customers continue to have access to programs and resources that can support energy-efficient improvements and savings over time."

PSC-approved programs advance Ameren Missouri’s ongoing investment in energy and cost saving opportunities on customers' bills and historically have helped customers save more than $4.7 billion on their energy bills over the lifetime of their energy-efficient upgrades.
Ameren Missouri has requested timely issuance of a PSC order to continue offering programs to customers in January 2027. If approved by the PSC, the company’s energy efficiency programs will run from January 2027 to December 2028, and its demand response programs will run through May 2029.
The current MEEIA energy efficiency programs remain in effect through the end of this year and the demand response programs through 2027.
