Ameren Missouri Deactivates Emergency Operations Center
Crews Restore Power to Customers Affected by Winter Storm

Ameren Missouri has deactivated its Emergency Operations Center as of 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Crews completed restoration to approximately 4,300 customers over the last 36 hours in Southeast Missouri. Most customers were not without power more than four hours. Reoccurring outages were caused by what the industry calls "galloping conductors."

“We have released several of the crews that were dispatched to Southern Missouri. Some extra crews will stay until tomorrow to monitor the current weather and its affects,” said Michael Moehn, senior vice president, Customer Operations. “We remain prepared if additional ice or wind would cause outages.”

All total, Ameren Missouri deployed approximately 500 workers, including linemen, tree trimmers, field checkers, and crews for restoration efforts.

Customers can report an outage at AmerenMissouri.com, Ameren.mobi or by calling Customer Service at 1.800.552.7583. Safety is Ameren Missouri’s top priority. Always call Customer Service to report a low-hanging or downed line.
