Ameren Illinois and contract personnel have been placed on alert as sleet and freezing rain threaten to develop across the southern third of the state. Snow is expected to hit across northern and central Illinois, with accumulations expected to range from 6" to 12".
Weather conditions are being monitored for any changes that may impact service. Ameren Illinois has also deployed a storm trailer to southern Illinois. This trailer is filled with materials field crews need to perform restoration work. The trailer can be moved to various staging sites to provide materials close to the area with the most damage.
