Ameren Missouri crews continue to assess damage from overnight storms and restore service as quickly and safely as possible to customers. Two waves of severe storms blew through the Ameren Missouri service territory overnight causing more than 23,500 customers to lose service. As of 7:00 a.m., there are more than 13,000 customers without power.
“The strong winds that were ahead of the second wave of storms caused damage throughout our service territory,” said Michael Moehn, president and CEO, Ameren Missouri. “Our field workers are out accessing the damage and working to get the power back on.”
