More than 600 business owners, nonprofit representatives, municipal officials and vendors are expected to participate in the 7th annual Ameren Illinois energy efficiency Business Symposium on Wed, June 8 in Springfield. The event is free and open to any Ameren Illinois business customer.
The nationally-recognized event offers a “one-stop shop” for energy efficiency programs, rebates and incentives that can help businesses reduce energy use and improve profitability. Attendees will discover the latest energy efficiency trends, discuss potential projects with trusted contractors, and share best practices with business peers.
In addition to engaging breakout sessions on a variety of topics, the event will feature a keynote address from Phil Reynolds, maintenance manager for The Hershey Company in Robinson, Illinois. Reynolds will discuss the benefits of implementing energy-saving projects and how those results helped the local facility be selected as the location for an investment in expanded Hershey product lines.
Ameren Illinois’ Business Symposium is a valuable tool for customers that are new to energy efficiency as well as those who want to dive deeper into emerging technologies and applications.
