Miller, Jr., president and chief executive officer of P. L. Miller & Associates; Charles W. Mueller, retired chairman and chief executive officer of Ameren and AmerenUE and retired chairman of CILCORP Inc. and AmerenCILCO; Douglas R. Oberhelman, group president of Caterpillar Inc.; Gary L. A member of Boeing's management team, Johnson is charged with providing legal support to the general counsel and the board of directors of Boeing. He is responsible for corporate governance, including implementation of many of the governance requirements arising out of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
Johnson leads Boeing's legal teams that are responsible for company financing activities, compliance with federal securities laws and mergers and acquisitions. Johnson joined The Boeing Company in 1998 after serving for more than a decade with Northrop Grumman Corporation, where his last position was as corporate vice president, secretary and assistant general counsel. Before joining Northrop, Johnson was an associate at various California-based law firms and for several years served in various capacities as an attorney for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. He holds his undergraduate and juris doctor (law) degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and is a resident of Chicago, Ill.
With assets of $17 billion, Ameren serves 2.3 million electric customers and 900,000 natural gas customers in a 64,000-square-mile area of Missouri and Illinois.
