Ameren's contribution helps fund the development of study guides to help audiences gain the most from the theatre experience. The contribution also covers the cost of offering complimentary attendance and transportation for select groups who can't afford admission. The company's gift also provides support for targeted marketing aimed at community-based organizations, church groups, neighborhood organizations, and after-school and summer youth programs to attract young families.
This special production for young audiences runs from Aug. 9 through Aug. 20. In 2005, AmerenUE contributed $2,500 to help sponsor STAGES' 2005 Free To Be You & Me Outreach Program.
The 2006 season marks STAGES' 20th year serving the St. Louis community with musical theatre and involves three main stage productions: Cabaret (June 2-July 2), Grease (July 21-August 20) and Meet Me In St. Louis (September 8-October 8). A not-for-profit organization, STAGES is located at 104 N. Clay in St. Louis. For additional information about the 2006 season, contact STAGES at (314)821-2412.
