Ameren Corporation Charitable Trust contributing $46,000 to St. Louis Variety Club to support PowerKids
Ameren is contributing $46,000 from the Ameren Corporation Charitable Trust in June 2006 to the St. Louis Variety Club to continue support of the PowerKids project. PowerKids was started in 2003 to provide power wheelchairs to help disabled children lead more productive lives.

The Ameren PowerKids will be featured in the Runway Light Fashion Show that kicks off the St. Louis Variety Club telethon on April 22, 2006, at 10:35 p.m., live after the KMOV Channel 4 news.

Ameren contributed $15,000 in both 2005 and 2004 from the Ameren Corporation Charitable Trust to the St. Louis Variety Club to support the PowerKids project. In 2003, Ameren contributed $25,000 from the Ameren Corporation Charitable Trust to the St. Louis Variety Club to support the PowerKids project. A 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization, the St. Louis Variety Club is located at 2200 Westport Plaza Drive; St. Louis, MO 63146. Jan Albus is the executive director of the St. Louis Variety Club.
