AmerenUE Restoration Efforts Wrap-Up

ST. LOUIS, Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- AS A STORM OF THIS SIZE WRAPS UP, AMERENUE WANTS TO MAKE SURE THAT ALL CUSTOMER OUTAGES ARE ACCOUNTED FOR. AMERENUE EXPECTS TO HAVE ALL CUSTOMERS RESTORED TODAY. HOWEVER, ANY AMERENUE CUSTOMERS WHO ARE STILL OUT OF POWER DUE TO THE RECENT WINTER STORMS OR WHO HAVE NOT YET BEEN CONTACTED BY AMERENUE TODAY SHOULD CALL 314-342-1000 or 1-800-552-7583. CUSTOMERS SEEING A DOWNED WIRE SHOULD ALSO CALL AMERENUE.

AmerenUE expresses great thanks and deep appreciation to all customers for their patience and support during this trying period.

  STATUS UPDATE
  -- Only 1,200 AmerenUE customers remain without power of a total of 45,000
     affected by the ice storms that hit Missouri.  Outages are scattered in
     Jefferson City and surrounding communities, in Montgomery County and in
     Louisiana, Bowling Green, Excelsior Springs and communities north of
     Excelsior Springs.
  -- Power should be restored today to almost all AmerenUE customers
     affected by the storm.
  -- Again: AmerenUE needs those customers who are still out of power to
     call in at 314-342-1000 or 1-800-552-7583.
