ST. LOUIS, April 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The board of directors of Ameren Corporation (NYSE: AEE) today declared a quarterly dividend on its common stock of 63.5 cents per share.
The common share dividend is payable June 30, 2008, to shareholders of record on June 11, 2008.
Separately, the boards of Ameren's utility operating subsidiaries have also declared regular quarterly dividends on all classes of the subsidiaries' preferred stock. The Central Illinois Light Company (AmerenCILCO) preferred stock dividend, declared April 22, 2008, is payable July 1, 2008, to shareholders of record on June 6, 2008. The Central Illinois Public Service Company (AmerenCIPS) preferred stock dividend, declared April 22, 2008, is payable Sept. 30, 2008, to shareholders of record on Sept. 10, 2008. The Illinois Power Company (AmerenIP) preferred stock dividend, declared April 22, 2008, is payable Aug. 1, 2008, to shareholders of record on July 10, 2008. The Union Electric Company (AmerenUE) preferred stock dividend, declared April 22, 2008, is payable Aug. 15, 2008, to shareholders of record on July 21, 2008.
