AmerenUE Sponsors 'Frontyard Features'
Local Company Brings Communities Together through Film

AmerenUE is now a leading sponsor of Frontyard Features, a local company that works with Missouri communities to bring neighbors together through the magic of film.

Frontyard Features’ 2008 season will begin Friday, May 2, with a showing of the late-1970s pop classic Grease at Union Station. Admission is free to all Frontyard Features productions, and viewers should arrive by 8:00 p.m. Films will begin about a half hour after sunset.

Created in 2006 by Martin Casas, Frontyard Features has grown from broadcasting films on bed sheets to owning its own inflatable movie screen. The screen is typically inflated in a neighborhood park or other public gathering place. Frontyard Features provides the film—typically tailored to audiences in each neighborhood.

“I think what Martin and his business partner are doing is great,” says AmerenUE Senior Vice President-Energy Delivery Richard Mark. “It’s completely in line with our mission to connect people and bring them together so that we can build stronger communities for tomorrow.”

Ameren’s corporate sponsorship will help Frontyard Features reach its ambitious goal of showing 200 movies in 200 communities this summer.

“As a small company based right here in St. Louis, we know our friends and neighbors are always looking for new, low-cost activities in the summer months,” Casas says. “We’re very pleased to add UE to our growing list of supporters. Our sponsors, small and large, help us build communities with the power of film.”

The movies slated and locations for the St. Louis area for May alone include:

· May 3, Tower Grove Park, Alice in Wonderland

· May 10, Sublette Park, Who Framed Roger Rabbit”

· May 13, Westport Plaza, Alvin and the Chipmunks
