Ameren is closely monitoring developments regarding the H1N1 flu virus (swine flu) in our community and around the world. We are concerned, first of all, with the health and safety of all our employees, their families and the people in the communities we serve. At the same time, we recognize the critical nature of the services we provide to our customers. We are taking actions to address both of these concerns.
Ameren has mobilized its Influenza Management Team, comprised of senior leaders from across the company. They are meeting daily and taking measures to ensure the integrity of our electric and natural gas delivery systems.
As always, Ameren is committed to keeping the lights on and gas flowing for our customers. We believe these precautions will enable us to do that.
