AmerenUE Names Michael K. Holman Manager, Missouri Valley Division

St. Louis based utility company AmerenUE is proud to name Michael K. Holman as the new manager of the Missouri Valley Division, which includes a 12,000-square-mile area of central and north Missouri. As manager he’ll oversee the Division’s electric and gas engineering, construction and customer service departments and a customer base of 130,000.

Holman’s career spans 27 years and began with Missouri Power & Light, which was acquired by Union Electric Company, now doing business as AmerenUE. Through it all, Holman has always worked to promote open communication within the community and among his coworkers (union and non-union) while focusing on efficient work practices. His hard work didn’t go unnoticed. Holman’s titles range from District Clerk – his first job with MP& L - to assistant district manager, Little Dixie District (3/89-6/94), to area office/sales supervisor, Green Hills/Little Dixie Districts.

Holman holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration with finance, marketing and communications specializations from Truman State University and an associate of arts in business administration from Moberly Area Community College.

Holman and his wife, Kelley, reside in Columbia, Mo. They have two daughters, Amanda and Abby. Holman’s mother, Doris Cross is from Moberly, Mo.

AmerenUE, founded in 1902, provides electric and gas service to approximately 1.2 million customers across central and eastern Missouri, including the greater St. Louis area. UE serves 57 Missouri counties and 500 towns. The company’s electric rates are among the lowest in the nation. For more information, visit www.amerenue.com.
