AMERENUE’S PERSONAL ENERGY REPORT
UE Shows Customers New Ways to Save Energy and Money

AmerenUE’s Personal Energy Report is a great tool to help our customers save money while saving energy. In 2009, UE launched the Personal Energy Report to provide our customers with valuable information on their energy usage and offer tips on how to conserve energy. This year’s report offers some new features – including the Personal Usage Summary. This helps customers see how much energy they’ve used in 2009, compared to 2008, and consider how their habits may impact their energy usage.

“Our goal is not only to educate customers on how much energy they’re using but to help them then find ways to save energy and money all year long,” says Richard Mark, UE senior vice president, Customer Operations. “Lowering energy usage not only helps our customers, it also helps the environment.”

The back of the Personal Energy Report lists ways customers can cut their energy usage – from tips that require little effort or money to great energy-saving investments for their homes. Customers will also find discounts offered by UE for energy-saving products. View the Personal Energy Report and more energy-saving tips at UEfficiency.com.

UE developed this year’s report based on customer feedback and surveying. Data shows customers are interested in receiving more information about their household usage and ways they can reduce their energy bill.

“Last year, a large percentage of our customers told us they kept the report for future reference, showing the value they found in the information,” says Tara Oglesby, manager, Customer Satisfaction.

AmerenUE, founded in 1902, provides electric and gas service to approximately 1.2 million customers across central and eastern Missouri, including the greater St. Louis area. UE serves 57 Missouri counties and 500 towns. The company's electric rates are among the lowest in the nation. For more information, visit www.amerenue.com.
