AmerenUE Honors Employees at Franklin Operating Center in Union For Completing One Year without a Lost Workday Accident


The 51 employees at AmerenUE’s Franklin Operating Center in Union have completed one year without an accident that resulted in a lost workday. The employees reached this safety milestone July 22. UE plans to hold a celebration at the operating center Sept. 16 to recognize employees for their success.

“This milestone is a testament to the focus on safety the Franklin employees have kept year round,” says UE Meramec Valley Division Superintendent Paul Hughes. “I’m personally proud to be associated with this team that genuinely cares for each other’s safety and well-being, with ‘nobody gets hurt’ as our goal. Congratulations to our Franklin employees on your achievement!”

UE’s Franklin Operating Center serves approximately 38,000 customers in Franklin County. Major communities served include Pacific, St. Clair, Union, and Washington.
