Update On Storm Restoration Efforts As Of Noon 110,000 Restored Since Last Update Yesterday Afternoon, 320,000 Still Out Of Power Across Illinois And Missouri
Since late yesterday afternoon (July 22), Ameren companies have restored
approximately 110,000 Metro St. Louis and Illinois customers affected by the
devastating July 19 and July 21 storms---255,000 remain without power in the
Metro area.
STAFFING: More than 3,950 contractors and employees'"up from 2,700 yesterday--
are working to restore power. These workers are from several states. A number
of companies have sent crews and others have committed additional people, so
more crews will be arriving in coming days.
