AmerenUE Supports the Circus Arts Foundation of Missouri
AmerenUE is contributing $10,000 to The Circus Arts Foundation of Missouri to help sponsor the 2006 Circus Flora production "Homage," that will run June 9- 25, 2006, in the Grand Center District in St. Louis. The production marks the 20th anniversary of Circus Flora.

The Circus Arts Foundation of Missouri (CAFM) is the parent nonprofit organization of Circus Flora \- St. Louis' very own theater under a bit top tent. Circus Flora excels in the art of combining a traditional European circus with modern theater technologies, creating a "magical theater in a sawdust ring." Under the artistic direction of founder Ivor David Balding, Circus Flora has performed in St. Louis for more than 15 years.

The 2006 production "Homage" is a tale of the early days of the circus in this country and the start of Circus Flora at the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, S.C., 20 years ago. The production will combine the best of the original company including the world famous Flying Wallendas. The St. Louis show will run June 9 through June 25, 2006, under the air-conditioned Big Top at Grand Center on the parking lot adjacent to Powell Symphony Hall.

Circus Flora is located at Centene Center for the Arts, 3547 Olive Street, 2nd Floor; St. Louis, MO 63103. Kelly Weber is the Executive Director.

AmerenUE contributed $5,000 in December 2004 to CAFM as a sponsor of the Circus Flora June 2005 production in Grand Center.

AmerenUE is a subsidiary of St. Louis-based Ameren Corporation. Ameren companies serve 2.4 million electric customers and nearly 1 million natural gas customers in a 64,000-square-mile area of Missouri and Illinois.
