Ameren Missouri donates utility truck to Jefferson City Public Schools

Jefferson City, Mo. (Oct. 25, 2019) - Today Ameren Missouri Central Division Director Chip Webb handed over the keys of a 37-foot bucket truck to Jefferson City Public Schools. The company donated the 2011 Ford F550 Single Bucket Aerial truck and it will be used help with regular maintenance around the district's 17 school campuses.

"This truck will continue to help our community in new ways," said Webb. "We live and work in this community, our children attend schools across the area and it's always great when we can give back."

"Without this truck, we would have to defer some maintenance jobs or hire an outside contractor to perform the work," said Larry Linthacum, superintendent of Jefferson City Public Schools. "We are so grateful to Ameren Missouri."
